Kazakhstan's student formula racing team from Specialized Lyceum №92 named after M. Gandhi, Almaty. We design, build, and race — pushing the limits of what young engineers can create.
STEM Formula is Kazakhstan's premier student engineering championship. Teams of high school students design, manufacture, and race scaled CO₂-powered formula cars — mastering aerodynamics, CAD, electronics, business strategy, and race operations.
From first CAD sketch to the starting grid — students own the entire process, end to end.
Teams compete on technical performance and business presentations — the full professional picture.
Guided by professionals in CAD, engineering, programming, and visual design.
To inspire Kazakhstan's next generation of engineers through competitive motorsport — proving that innovation has no age limit.
Uran Racing was born at Lyceum №92 in Almaty. Our name — Uran, the element of raw atomic power — reflects the energy of young minds.
Five student engineers, three expert mentors. One shared goal: build something remarkable.

THE VEHICLE
The car body is just 152mm long — slightly larger than a smartphone. CNC-machined, minimum 48g, CO₂ propulsion. Every millimetre is a design decision.
Set by Australian team Infinitude in 2016. The number every team in every country races to beat. That benchmark drives every design decision Uran Racing makes.
STAGE 01
Teams compete locally against schools in their region. Judged on car speed, engineering portfolio, verbal presentation, and pit display quality.
STAGE 02
Top regional teams advance to compete nationally. Scrutiny increases sharply — engineering documentation, branding, and performance all matter equally.
STAGE 03
Held at a Formula 1 Grand Prix venue. Teams from 65+ countries compete. The 2026 World Finals take place at Aramco's venue in Saudi Arabia. This is where Uran Racing is headed.
We are turning STEM Racing from a one-time event into a scalable educational platform for Kazakhstan.
STEM Racing Academy is a series of practical workshops where students learn engineering, aerodynamics, 3D design, branding, and teamwork through building a race car.

RACE-INSPIRED DESIGN
Our merchandise line brings the Uran Racing aesthetic off the track. Limited drops. Premium quality. Every piece tells the story of Kazakhstan's next generation of engineers.
